About the Owner

Joe Campo started at Tom Richards Installations as a fabricator in 1993. In 1997 he was asked to manage operations. Joe became the general manager in 2004 and owner in 2007. The fundamentals of fabrication and installation taught by Tom Richards are integral to the system. Joe enjoys the advanced methods and challenges that, the limitless design possibilities of, solid surface fabrication brings. "I see complexed projects as a test of my skill; I know there is a way to do it, the question is how and how to make it affordable."

Developments in the Industry

• Among the first to build down a solid CORIAN® edge to 1 1/2" that is so common today. (This before DuPont had even developed adhesives for CORIAN®.
• Coving Back splashes before the development of production routers that were created for that purpose.
• Many of the advanced fabrication / installation / repair techniques used in DuPont literature were conceived, developed or perfected by Tom Richards before they were introduced by DuPont.
• Thermoforming (heat-bending) of CORIAN is among the many processes that are constantly be created and developed in our shop.
